Mom's Business Makeover Grants


This will be an on-going competition, so the deadlines are your own. All applications will be reviewed within 90 days and each will receive a detailed response, by email or a scheduled telephone consultation, which includes a brand evaluation and brainstorming session. Those chosen as Grant Winners will receive the value of $500 - $5000 in business development services and products. All winners will receive an itemized list of what they will receive before makeover begins. Awards are based on originality and conciseness of applications, the need of the individual business, the efforts demonstrated, and passion of the applicant. All winners agree to be profiled in future issues of the magazine, as well as any other promotional efforts for “Mom’s Business Makeovers” and the series.

DIRECTIONS

1. Print the application pages (either the jpgs or download the PDFs) that best suit your business needs. Complete them as thoroughly, thoughtfully and creatively as you can.

2 Attach samples as requested, they can be returned. Don’t be shy or embarrassed by what you have created, the more you show me that you have made an attempt on your own, the more I am willing to help you!

3. Use the mailing label to address your package.

One of the funnest things I do through this magazine is award “Mom’s Business Makeovers” to women with great ideas who may have limited financial means to produce them.

Giving my talent, my experience and my creativity fulfills my desire to help all moms realize their potential. I understand the sheer costs a mom business owners faces in production, promotion and order fulfillment so if I can help – by providing the design, as well as bridging any technical gaps with other graphic designers, printers, manufacturers, publishers, or assist in any way – this may be all she needs to succeed.

My “Mom’s Business Makeover Grants” are not monetary but I can put a value on them having offered these services for over a dozen years from my graphic design studio.

If you have an idea for a business, or you have been working tirelessly building a business, I encourage you to fill in these blueprints and follow the directions. Your “application” will be reviewed and whether I can award you a Makeover Grant, or not, I will brainstorm with you and help guide you through the next step.
